The Licensed Gun Owners Welfare Association of Bangladesh believes that responsible ownership includes keeping firearms out of the hands of people who abuse their partners or family members. We support fair, enforceable measures — including restrictions tied to protective orders and qualifying convictions — that separate abusers from firearms while due process is respected. These safeguards protect victims in the moments when they are most at risk, and they reflect a standard that responsible gun owners already hold themselves to.
